There are currently over one billion Iphones in use and analysts say this will grow even more.
Apple says that they reached the figure of one billion in 2016, but they did not account for the outdated iPhones, writes "Independent".
In a recent post Apple expert Neil Cybartt said that according to his account, Apple has surpassed the figure of one billion users last month.
"13 years after its launch, these phones remain permanent for users," Cybartt said.
He added: "Competitors are either shamelessly copying the iPhone, or are heavily influenced by Apple."
So far Apple has launched 29 iPhones in the market.
To be more successful in sales, Cybartt thinks Apple needs to push the boundaries of camera technology, increase the value of the iPhone, and increase the number of capabilities the phone can afford.
