Samsung Galaxy S21 Support a 30W Fast Charger Adapter

According to recent reports, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will not come with a charger in some markets. However, the latest report shows that this smartphone will support a new 30W fast charger. It is worth mentioning that the Samsung Galaxy S21 series already has the Chinese 3C certification. The listing shows that this device comes with a 25W fast charging adapter by default. The expectations are that the new 30W charging head will have to sell separately.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Support a 30W Fast Charger Adapter

The Samsung Galaxy S21 series includes Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra. To comfort users due to the removal of the chargers in the box, Samsung will offer chargers at a cheaper cost. However, this device will still ship with a charging cable. Thus, users can opt to buy the 30W fast charging heads or the regular 25W charging head.

As of now, these are the speculations that we have regarding the Galaxy S21 charger. There are no images of the charger and there is no official confirmation for now. We will keep a close tab on this device as we expect more leaks to hit the public soon.

The well-known network insider under the nickname Ice Universe, who often shares exclusive information about new products in the mobile industry, has published a series of posts dedicated to an important improvement in the upcoming flagship Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphones.

The good news is that the Galaxy S21 will have an improved ultrasonic sub-screen fingerprint scanner. This is the first upgrade since the Samsung Galaxy S10.

He recalled that the current ultrasonic sub-screen fingerprint scanner measures 4×9 mm, while the new fingerprint sensor has dimensions of 8 x 8 mm. Fingerprint recognition speed has been doubled, according to the insider. He added that Samsung Galaxy S21 users won’t need to hold their finger on the screen to recognize the fingerprint. A quick touch will be enough.

The standard version of the Galaxy S21 with the model number SM-G991U has appeared in the database of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The certification confirmed that the smartphone supports 25W wired charging, and the Galaxy S21 also supports wireless reverse charging of other gadgets at 9W.

The first XIAOMI foldable smartphone is expected to be released in 2021

There are no revolutions taking place in the smartphone market right now. It was expected that the emergence of foldable devices with flexible displays would be the event that would revolutionize the industry. As a result, we got expensive and incomprehensible smartphones that many want to show. But they lack clear positioning and understanding of the benefits that the consumer will receive. Now, it seems that the foldable smartphone is getting ready to be presented by Xiaomi as well.

The first XIAOMI foldable smartphone is expected to be released in 2021

At the very beginning of last year, a video was posted on the network, where the president of the company, Lin Bin, sits with a compact tablet in his hands and flips through social networks. And then with a slight movement of the hands, the device is transformed into a smartphone. Moreover, it bends on both sides.

Then it was said that the company will be ready to present a commercial version of the foldable smartphone. But this never happened until today. It will not happen this year either. Chinese sources said that Xiaomi will launch its first foldable smartphone next year.

Earlier, Xiaomi President Lin Bin said that in creating a dual-fold mobile smartphone, they were able to overcome a number of technical challenges. This includes flexible matrix technology, hinge mechanism, flexible matrix coating and MIUI adaptation. And it will be the world’s first dual-fold smartphone.

But it seems that the Xiaomi foldable smartphone is still far from perfect and there still some problems. One of them is that the smartphone should not be expensive. Yes, the company has already stepped into the territory of flagships from A-brands and began to produce expensive devices.

But in the case of a foldable smartphone, it runs the risk of not finding its audience who is willing to pay a lot for the experiment. I think that the reaction from users to the concept Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha confirmed that the audience is not ready to buy such products at a high price.

Samsung plans 3 types of foldable phones in 2021

Samsung is reportedly planning to launch three kinds of foldable smartphone models next year.

Samsung plans 3 types of foldable phones in 2021

According to OLED research firm UBI Research, these will likely be called Galaxy Z Flip 2, Galaxy Z Fold 3 and a new Galaxy Z Fold Lite.

Foldable phones are getting cheaper

According to The Elec, a reliable source in general, we will see the more affordable Galaxy Z Fold Lite model in 2021. These will be followed by the two flagship models Galaxy Z Flip 2 and Galaxy Z Fold 3. It’s going to be a good year for Samsung foldable phones.

All three models will use ultra-thin glass as cover windows.

Galaxy Z Flip 2 will have a 6.7-inch internal screen and a 3-inch external screen.

The internal screen size is the same as the first Galaxy Z Flip launched earlier this year. But the external screen size has increased from the 1.1-inch of the original Flip.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Lite will offer the same display configuration (probably without the under-display camera tech) paired with cheaper internals to achieve a lower price point.

The Z Flip successor will come with the same 6.7-inch foldable panel but a bigger 3-inch external one, compared to the original Z Flip's outer display of just 1.1-inch.

The report also said that the Z Fold3 will have S Pen support.

The company earlier introduced Galaxy Z Fold2 that sports a 6.2-inch cover screen and a 7.6-inch main screen when unfolded.

Galaxy Z Fold2 is Samsung's third foldable smartphone after Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Flip.

Foldable smartphones coming in 2021

According to Ross Young of DisplaySearch, a good source of information regarding smartphone screen tech in the past few months, 2021 will be a great year for foldables. Specifically, the second half of next year.

Foldable smartphones coming in 2021

That's when, Young says, we'll see such devices launched by Oppo, vivo, Xiaomi, as well as Google. That's on top of Samsung's expected Galaxy Z Fold3, Z Flip2, and Z Flip Lite. On that point, Young insists that the much rumored Fold3 Lite won't happen, instead the 'affordable foldable' will be of the Flip variety. We'll have to wait and see.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 coming with S Pen, new ultra-thin glass in June 2021

Foldable smartphones coming in 2021

A new report from Korea claims that Samsung will push the Galaxy Z Fold3 from a Fall announcement to June of 2021. More importantly, the report claims that the Galaxy Z Fold3 will not only support an S Pen, but have it embedded into the device's body, like on the Galaxy Note series.

Samsung will reportedly be able to make the S Pen work on the flexible screen on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 thanks to second generation Ultra thin glass. It will reportedly be hard enough so as to not be marked by the S Pen.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will also use an under display selfie camera for an uninterrupted display experience. Samsung reportedly though about a pop-up camera on its next foldable, but decided against it for durability reasons.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Lite may be on the way

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Lite may be on the way

Foldable smartphones may or may not be the future, but one thing's for sure: they're still very expensive at the moment. In the past, we heard Samsung was working on a Galaxy Z Fold Lite that would be cheaper than the Z Fold 2, but now it seems that project may have been shelved.

The information comes from Ross Young, founder of DSCC and frequent purveyor of foldable-related rumors (with a decent track record no less). He says he hasn't heard about the Z Fold Lite in a while, which may indicate it was shelved.

Not all hope is lost for a more affordable foldable, though. That's because recently Young has been hearing about a Galaxy Z Flip Lite, which would supposedly aim to be cheaper than the Z Flip. Interestingly, the Lite model will keep the Ultra Thin Glass employed in the Z Flip.

Oppo X 2021 rollable concept phone

Oppo X 2021 rollable concept phone

The biggest wow factor with this device is that it doesn’t have a fixed display size as it can adjust between 6.7 and 7.4-inches in diagonal which presents new opportunities for developers and users. Oppo gives the example of clicking a video link which then results in the screen adjusting for the aspect ratio on its own.

In its basic form, the display is 6.7-inches. It’s an OLED panel with a proprietary Warp Track high-strength screen laminate part of which sits below the actual display and is just 0.1mm thick at its thinnest point. We don’t get specifics on the actual material on the outside layer of the display but it's presumably some sort of plastic.

Thanks to its dual rolling motors underneath the display Oppo managed to achieve a zero-crease screen, something current foldables are still trying to overcome. The motors can retract and extend the display with equally distributed force on both halves.

Going back to the other companies, it's perhaps no surprise that the Chinese players are in the game, but Google will launch one foldable Pixel too. Between the three of them, Oppo, vivo, and Xiaomi will out a total of four foldable devices.

While Young uses the phrase "foldable smartphones", we have to wonder whether this list may also include a rollable model, akin to the Oppo X 2021 concept. Or better put, we're daydreaming about that possibility over here. Perhaps in a year the technology will be mature enough to be put through mass production. We can only hope.

OnePlus 9 Pro comes in March 2021

Earlier this month we saw the first renders of OnePlus 9 Pro, the next model phone from the well-known firm. They show that the company has chosen a model similar to the 8T and Nord N series before a design extension from the 7 Pro and 8 Pro.

OnePlus 9 Pro comes in March 2021

There are two prominent camera modules plus two smaller lenses. A wide-angle camera, an ultra-wide one and a camcorder are safe, but the function of the fourth camera is unknown - it is thought that the rumored IR camera will be back. But apparently the phone will not have a periscope camera, judging by its appearance.

Anyway, LetsGoDigital and Concept Creator worked together to create new devices, real device renders, for everyone who wants to have the new OnePlus phone to enjoy.

Notice the curved sides of the screen - the curvature looks sharper than on the OnePlus 8 Pro. The screen itself is believed to come in a 6.7 ”diagonal, which is the new standard rate for the latest Pro models.

We’ve heard rumors that the refresh rate will increase to 144 Hz and that the Pro will feature enhanced stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. According to the renders of the non-Pro model display a flat screen.

The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro are expected to arrive earlier than usual, respectively in mid-March 2021. This may be a response to the previous launch of the Galaxy S21.

Oppo flip smartphone similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip model

With this in mind, many smartphone manufacturers are trying to introduce their flip phone. However, for now, many companies are only patenting their own version of foldable smartphones and do not have a finished product ready, and one of them is Oppo.

Oppo flip smartphone

Oppo's patent filed with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) recently surfaced online. The document details a swivel phone similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip model that uses a single-speed rotary gear. The hinges will allow the phone to be fixed at four different angles.

Unusually, this smartphone does not have an additional screen which means that when this smartphone is folded, the user will not be able to see notifications nor will he be able to see who is calling until he opens it. You can also say that it is common for all the flip phones on the market to come with a secondary screen on the outside and a main screen.

Opp's patented phone has a fairly common single-screen home screen for a selfie camera. According to the available views, it can be seen that this device has a rear camera module with three sensors, which is more than what we saw in the Galaxy Z Flip and Motorola Razr models.

Given that the design of this foldable smartphone is not at the level of competing solutions and lacks some important components, it can be assumed that Oppo will most likely not issue this patent at the production stage.

2020 Best camera smartphone

If you’re in the market for an upgrade, it makes sense to weigh up your options and buy the right phone for you. The choices are plentiful, whether you’re an Apple, Google, Huawei or Samsung fan after a pocketable point and shoot camera to supplement a bulky DSLR, or a brilliant mobile video camera. We've tested hundreds of smartphones, and whittled our list of best camera phones you can buy down to just ten.

2020 Best camera smartphone

While the best camera phone for many will be the iPhone 12 Pro Max, packing excellent app support and delivering a rich user experience, the best camera on a phone right now is that of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro. It offers stunning day and night shots across both regular and wide-angle lenses, with superb zoom and video HDR skills to boot. Meanwhile, the brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is the best pen-packing camera phone currently available, which could make it the perfect choice for creatives.

Our best camera phone rankings have had a shake-up thanks to new phones in the latter half of 2020

1. iPhone 12 Pro Max (The best camera phone money can buy)
iPhone 12 Pro Max
The iPhone 12 Pro Max isn’t the best smartphone, but it is arguably the best camera phone. It includes a 12MP f/1.6 main snapper, a 12MP f/2.2 telephoto one (with 2.5x optical zoom), a 12MP f/2.4 ultra-wide one, and even a LiDAR scanner, which enables Night Mode portraits.
In fact night – and low light in general – is something the iPhone 12 Pro Max has far less issue with than most smartphones, thanks in part to a large sensor that can take in a lot of light. Night Mode is also usable with both the main and ultra-wide sensor, so you’re not limited in the types of photos you can take at night.

2. Huawei P40 Pro (The P40 Pro has superb cameras, but it’s not the best phone)

Huawei P40 Pro

Recommending it comes with its own set of caveats given the Huawei/Google situation though. That’s why despite its extensive list of stellar features, you definitely need to read our P40 Pro review before picking one up. Irrespective of its software limitations though, its camera will knock your socks off.
The P40 Pro’s Leica-branded imaging system is spearheaded by a brand new 50MP sensor, which uses RYYB (red yellow yellow blue) sub-pixel formation, like the 40MP P30 Pro before it. Huawei claims this makes its cameras better able to handle dark scenes like a champion, and we can attest to the fact the P40 Pro absolutely can.

The main camera’s lens is a pretty standard f/1.9 aperture on paper, but with a huge sensor size (for a smartphone) and OIS, combined with Huawei’s mighty electronic image stabilization, it’s still a low light star. This phone can pretty much see in the dark, even in automatic mode - something no other non-Huawei phones can do.
There’s also a 40MP f/1.8 ultra-wide camera, a 12MP telephoto camera that’s capable of 5x optical zoom or 50x digital zoom, and a time-of-flight (ToF) sensor for creating bokeh effects.

3. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (A great camera phone with an excellent zoom lens)
Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a high-spec camera, but it’s the telephoto camera that really stands out. This is a 12MP f/3.0 snapper with 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom.

Both of those specs are impressive, and while the S20 Ultra offers 100x digital zoom, that was little more than a gimmick, with the Note 20 Ultra actually bettering that snapper thanks to a wider aperture and larger pixels.
And while the telephoto camera is the highlight, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra’s 108MP f/1.8 main camera and 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide one also perform well.

4. iPhone 12 Pro (Almost as good for photography as the iPhone 12 Pro Max)

iPhone 12 Pro

Still, the iPhone 12 Pro comes very close to matching it, and at a lower price. It has a 12MP f/1.6 main snapper with OIS, a 12MP f/2.0 telephoto camera with OIS and 2x optical zoom, and a 12MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera. Like its larger sibling it also has a LiDAR scanner, which can be used to power augmented reality experiences and take Night Mode portrait shots.
As with the iPhone 12 Pro Max, Night Mode in general is really impressive here, allowing you to take bright, detailed shots where other phones would struggle, and you can use Night Mode with both the main and ultra-wide lenses.

The 12MP selfie camera also performs well, and there are handy features like Dolby Vision for video, and Smart HDR 3 for improved image processing.

5. Google Pixel 5 (A great mix of cameras and editing tools)

Google Pixel 5

The Google Pixel 5 isn’t a camera phone that wows with numbers. There are only two rear lenses for a start, giving you the choice of a 12.2MP f/1.7 main camera and a 16MP f.2.2 ultra-wide one. That also notably leaves the Pixel 5 without a dedicated telephoto lens.

However, we found that – particularly in good light – the Pixel 5 was capable of capturing crisp images with a strong color palette, and while low light performance is a step down, it still manages to capture accurate colors.
The ultra-wide lens also creates less distortion at the edge of images than many other ultra-wide options, and the Google Pixel 5 has a decent range of photo editing tools built in.

6. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra (The ultimate flagship - at an ultimate price)

Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra

There’s a huge amount going on with the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra’s camera setup. For starters, you’ve got over 200 megapixels across the front and rear cameras, then there are those smart new shooting modes to talk about; and finally - there’s that huge zoom - 100x ‘Space Zoom’. Marketing jargon? Absolutely, but irrespective, the S20 Ultra’s camera is a telephoto champion.

It all starts with a 108MP primary camera sensor - the same as the one on the Xiaomi Mi Note 10. This time around, it’s combined with a 48MP optical zoom camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a time-of-flight sensor around the back, which gathers depth information for the blurry background, sharp foreground Live Focus stills and video.
The Ultra’s zoom really is best-in-class when compared to other camera phones on the market. It uses a roughly 5x optical zoom with a high-resolution sensor to create virtually lossless 10x zoom images.

7. OnePlus 8 Pro (The most accomplished OnePlus ever, but also the priciest)

OnePlus 8 Pro

OnePlus has stepped up its game when it comes to smartphone cameras, bringing the OnePlus 8 Pro closer than ever to the best of the rest thanks to the fact it’s powered by Sony’s new 12-bit IMX689 sensor. With a large 1/1.4” size and 1.12-micron pixels, the OnePlus 8 Pro’s main camera can capture stunning bokeh and clear as day photos, even in middling light.
It isn’t just the sensor that’s specced out on the new OnePlus’s main snapper - thanks to phase detection autofocus and laser autofocus, not to mention OIS, it locks on quickly and keeps things steady across photography and video.

Unlike periscope zoom cameras, the OnePlus 8 Pro can’t compete when it comes to getting up close and personal to subjects from a distance. That said, its 8MP, f/2.4, telephoto camera packs a 3x optical zoom and OIS, so betters the iPhone 11 Pro’s max focal length.

Asus ROG Phone 4 Spotted at Geekbench

A new Asus flagship device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 8GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS visits Geekbench. The device could likely be the Asus ROG phone 4.

Asus ROG Phone 4 Spotted at Geekbench

Asus ROG is amongst the few available gaming smartphone series available in the market currently. The company launched the ROG Phone 3 earlier this year powered by the flagship Snapdragon 865+ processor. Now, the company seems to be working on its successor. The alleged ROG Phone 4 has been benchmarked with the recently announced Qualcomm's premium Snapdragon processor. Along with the chipset, some other details have also been shared.

The alleged ROG Phone 4 has made an appearance at the Geekbench database with the Asus_I005DA model number. According to the Geekbench database, the smartphone will draw its power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The motherboard 'lahaina' confirms this to be the Snapdragon 888 processor. It is worth noting that Asus recently teased a new smartphone in works powered by Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset.

Therefore, it could be a possibility that the Asus_I005DA could be the upcoming ROG Phone 4 itself. The listing further reveals that this octa-core Snapdragon processor will have a base frequency of 1.8GHz. The handset is listed with an 8GB RAM configuration. It is likely that we get to see a higher RAM variant as well.

But, that could only be confirmed once this smartphone is officially confirmed. The Geekbench database also suggests Android 11 OS. Unfortunately, the Geekbench listing does not reveal any other hardware feature and we are yet to get some insight into the device's camera, display, and battery capacity.

It would be interesting to see if Asus ups its game in the display department as well. As for the benchmark performance, the Asus ROG Phone 4 performed well both in the single-core and multi-core tests. The smartphone achieved 1,081 points in the single-core test. While in the multi-core test, the smartphone achieved 3,584 points. This is the first time this handset has appeared on any online platform. More details are likely to emerge in the coming days.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold

Lenovo these days introduced the world's first foldable computer, with a single screen. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold is a foldable PC.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold

Hardware makers have been experimenting with bendable displays for close to a decade. While the core technology has matured enough to make such devices a reality, they’re still working out the kinks as it relates to supporting hardware and practicality. The ThinkPad X1 Fold is another step in what seems like the right direction for a brand new category of devices but it's still all very early.

Teased at CES 2020, the ThinkPad X1 Fold packs a folding OLED touchscreen panel that can be used as a single 13.3-inch screen (2,048 x 1,536 resolution, 300 nits of brightness, DCI-P3 95 percent) or two 9.6-inch displays. It’s powered by Intel’s Core i5-L16G7 with Intel Hybrid technology alongside integrated Intel UHD Graphics and 8GB of LPDDR4X memory that is soldered in place (and thus, non-expandable).

The base configuration includes a 256GB PCIe SSD, but no additional accessories like the Lenovo Mod Pen or Lenovo’s mini Bluetooth keyboard. You do get a 5-megapixel camera and Wi-Fi 6 wireless connectivity, however.

Jerry Paradise, vice president of commercial portfolio at Lenovo PC, stressed that the X1 Fold is not a laptop. “It has not been designed to be a “catch-all” device for everybody,” he said. “It’s a concept that illustrates the future of computing and offers a window to the potential that such a category can fulfill.”

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold is available to pre-order from today starting at $2,499. According to Lenovo’s website, it’ll ship within 4-5 weeks.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro 120 Hz QHD display

Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro is expected to be among the first companies to launch a phone with the Snapdragon 875 - the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro. According to one leakster, the Pro version will also have a very intriguing display with QHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro 120 Hz QHD display

The new screen of the Mi 11 Pro will be a massive upgrade over the Mi 10 Pro that brings a 1080p resolution and “just” 90 Hz refresh rate. The leakster revealed the selfie shooter will stay in the upper left corner and the whole panel will have some curved sides, but nothing extraordinary. Similar is the situation with the cameras - just a slight update rather than a major overhaul.

Xiaomi seems to have changed its mind and we could see an upgrade already from the next Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro. According to the famous Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station, the brand could in fact launch the next generation smartphone with a display with QHD + resolution on board , which translated into pixels should be around 3040 x 1440. Those who follow the telephony sector will already know that this is nothing exceptional as it has been present on many Samsung flagships for several years.

While it is way too early to unveil the other specs given the fact there is one month to the unveiling of the actual Qualcomm chipset, we shouldn’t act surprised to see the 120W fast charging make an appearance on the Mi 11 Pro.

The smartphone manufacturer also demoed an 80W wireless charger that gets a 4,000 mAh battery from 0 to 100% in 19 minutes, so that’s another expected launch for February or March when the next-gen Xiaomi flagships are likely to be launched.

Everything you need to know about Android 11

First introduced in February, Android 11 brings added privacy, new chat features, and device and Internet controls.

Everything you need to know about Android 11

Google has released the latest major update called Android 11 "R" and has begun shipping the Pixel models of the search engine itself.

First introduced in February, Android 11 brings added privacy, new chat features, and device and Internet controls.

Here's what you need to know about this Android update.

When will I get it?

Currently only if you have a Google Pixel or OnePlus smartphone, Oppo, Realme and Xiaomi can install version 11 of Android, somewhere the final version and somewhere it is an experimental version but accessible to the masses.

In the coming months we expect Samsung to join this list.

Does it cost?

Updates is free from Google. If you are required to pay for the next version of Android then it is a scam.

Will existing applications work?

Android 11 does not change the way the operating system works which means that applications will continue to function as they have in recent years.

Improving conversations

For many users, phones are just about communicating with a host of applications. These apps will have their own dedicated space in the phone notifications section making it much easier to manage conversations without interfering with the rest of the notifications.

Facebook was the first to introduce this design model with Messenger in 2013 by placing conversations in the form of floating bubbles on the screen and standing on any type of application interface or operating system. By pressing on them, the bubbles revealed the full conversation to read.

Google has taken this feature and integrated it into the Android operating system so that every communication application works the same even though some need to be updated.

The idea of this change is to continue to do what you are doing while having quick access to the conversation you are having with a relative or friend.

Improved media content controls

The music and video control buttons will be part of a dedicated section in the notifications panel, hovering over other notifications. Part of this update is the ability to change the music output as well, for example you are using headphones you want to switch the speaker what you can do with a button.

Quick access to smart devices

If you have lights and smart devices at home, this version of Android is for you. Holding down the power button will give you quick access to a panel where in addition to the power on or off buttons, you will also have a collection of buttons to turn on and off smart devices.

Buttons can be changed based on the devices they use most often.

The best privacy

Based on the privacy enhancements made by Android 10, Android 11 will add more controls this time over the permissions you give apps so that they serve the purpose for which they were built.

For example, access to the microphone, camera and location can now only be granted once by avoiding a permanent permission even when you are not using the application that requires access to these resources.

Android will even reset the permissions you have given to an app that you have not used in a long time so that it does not access parts of the phone if you have left it in oblivion.

Faster updates

Google is doing its best to send as frequent security and privacy updates as possible which will make it available on Google Play similar to apps. So you do not have to wait for the smartphone manufacturer to send a full update if it is a critical security fix.

Almost one billion iPhones are in use around the world

There are currently over one billion Iphones in use and analysts say this will grow even more.

Almost one billion iPhones are in use around the world

Apple says that they reached the figure of one billion in 2016, but they did not account for the outdated iPhones, writes "Independent".

In a recent post Apple expert Neil Cybartt said that according to his account, Apple has surpassed the figure of one billion users last month.

"13 years after its launch, these phones remain permanent for users," Cybartt said.

He added: "Competitors are either shamelessly copying the iPhone, or are heavily influenced by Apple."

So far Apple has launched 29 iPhones in the market.

To be more successful in sales, Cybartt thinks Apple needs to push the boundaries of camera technology, increase the value of the iPhone, and increase the number of capabilities the phone can afford.
